Anchor Bar
1047 Main St, Buffalo, Buffalo,
I am a Buffalonian born and raised ... I have had chicken wings at La Novas (BTW it's Open Pit BBQ sauce they use), Duffs and almost any other "the place for wings" establishments. I have to say im my opinion The Anchor Bar still ranks number one to me. Aside from wings The Anchor Bar has a full menu of foods and it can get a little pricy depending on what you are having for dinner. The Atmosphere is a very nostolgic feel to the place, and if you are sitting at the bar area having your wings and watching a game on the TV there is no better crowd of patrons to be with than there. The live entertainment is always a great treat. I like that you can order the wings to take out, but sitting in the place, eating your wings is a great experience at The Anchor Bar.

Chef's
291 Seneca St, Buffalo, Buffalo,
The famous who have dined there are covering the walls. The sauce is sweet and not overseasoned. I haven't found a favorite dish there yet, but I have enjoyed my meals. A fun Buffalo favorite, good for taking out- of-towners to.

Gabriels Gate Restaurant

I usually go here for lunch, but the bar scene at night is a lot of fun! They have quality food as well as good service...and arguably the best wings in the city!

Hutch's
1375 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, Buffalo,
I never fail to be impressed by Hutch's....the service, the ambiance, the crowd...very impressive without being pretentious like so many upscale "steakhouses." The service is always beyond reproach; the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and unflappable. Did I mention the food? Without peer here in Western New York. What other upscale restaurant dares put liver and onions on the menu? It's so mouthwatering I can't bring myself to order anything else...mouthwateringly tender calves liver, sweet caramelized onions, crisp slab bacon and pommery mustard; need I say more? Salads and appetizers are sized for sharing, and don't miss the signature fruit cup dessert. No matter how much you already ate, there is always room for fresh berries, sweet whipped cream and the most "to die for" cookie cup that ever passed your lips. Some will argue that Hutch's is pricey, and although there are more affordable alternatives in WNY, nothing can compare to the combination of food quality, attentive service, and overall ambiance provided by Hutch's. Definitely a destination when you are entertaining out of town guests and aim to impress.

Just Pasta Restaurant
307 Bryant St, Buffalo, Buffalo,
Get with it guys. Just Pasta folded a year or more ago. It has been replaced in the same locatoin by Aroma. The latter has a wonderful, varied menu of gourmet Italian cuisine -- a little on the pricey side, but not for what it is. I recommend it highly
